It always happens when it’s least expected 🙁

I was working with my grinder and all of a sudden, it stopped, Of course it happened in the worst timing, while working with it, but thinking of it, there is no good time for such things to happen 🙂

I disassembled it and got a little rain of carbon pieces.

So, I bought new Makita CB-325 Carbon Brushes and went back home happy…

In the following short movie, you will see how to install those brushes, it is an easy job to do it yourself.

BE CAREFUL! verify that the tool is UNPLUGGED before doing anything with it.

Before buying the brushes, disassemble the grinder and look inside, turn the disc with your hand and look at the engine. If you see that it is not complete/ smooth, you may want to buy a new tool.

In my case, I learned it in the hard way, I installed the new brushes and when I turned it on it worked for a second and then died again, when I checked it, I noticed that the engine itself is ruined and that what caused the brushes to break in the first place.

Anyway, enjoy the movie, if all you need is replacing Carbon Brushes for Makita, then that movie will help you.
